SIG P210 Prototype Combat Pistols

P 210 Special Versions

There are a variety of gunsmiths who produce such special P 210 pistols, for example, the Crottet company in Wiezikon, the Schneebeli company in Winterthur, and many domestic and foreign gunsmiths. Below are some of the aforementioned versions listed. This provides a small overview of these special P 210 versions.

COMBAT Trials

In 1982, Mr. L. Crottet wanted a SIG P 210-8 Combat-Crottet to be manufactured by SIG. Initially, SIG allocated the numbers P 98414 to P 98515 for 100 pistols. However, in 1983, this agreement was canceled by SIG. SIG explained the withdrawal in 1983 as follows: The Swiss Combat Club had a demand for at least 200–400 Combat P 210-8 pistols, which SIG would produce itself. However, these pistols have not been produced by SIG to this day! Thus, only a few trial versions of the P 210-8 COMBAT were made.

For the year 1996, a SIG P 210 Combat is planned. Exact details about the quantity and specifications are not yet known. The adjacent illustration might serve as a reference.

The Specs and information on the different gun models listed below are based on Das Grosse Buch der SIG-Pistolen, “The Big Book of SIG Pistols,” by Lorenz Vetter.
