The SIG P210-6

Precision Engineering for Sport Shooters

The SIG P210-6 is a celebrated iteration of the legendary SIG P210 series, designed with sport shooting precision and unmatched Swiss craftsmanship in mind. Built on the foundation of the SP 47/8, this variant has evolved to cater to competitive marksmen seeking accuracy, reliability, and timeless aesthetics.

Specifications of the SIG P210-6

  • Barrel Length: 120 mm (4.72 inches)
  • Calibers: Available in 9mm Parabellum and 7.65mm Parabellum
  • Sights: Micrometer rear sight with a front sight mounted directly on the slide for enhanced stability and sight alignment
  • Trigger Mechanism: Features a precision sport trigger mechanism, similar to the P210-5. It’s finely adjustable and securely fastened for consistent performance.
  • Lock Housing Securing: Early models incorporated a lateral securing mechanism with an additional rear fastening screw, while newer models streamlined this with rear-only lock housing securing.

Notable Features of the SIG SP 47/8 Sport Pistol

Introduced in 1952/53, the SP 47/8 set the stage for the P210-6. It combined a robust design with sport-focused enhancements, such as a screwed-in sport trigger mechanism secured laterally and rearward for superior stability. This innovation was carried forward and refined in the P210-6, ensuring reliability for competitive shooters.

Whether chambered in 9mm or 7.65mm, the SIG P210-6 is a masterpiece of engineering that continues to hold its place as one of the finest sport pistols in history. A true collector’s gem and an essential tool for the discerning marksman.

The Specs and information on the different gun models listed below are based on Das Grosse Buch der SIG-Pistolen, “The Big Book of SIG Pistols,” by Lorenz Vetter.
