During the 1990s, the business supplied parts for Korth in Ratzeburg. Janz’s published revolver history dates the decision to develop its own model to 1997, followed by an initial handmade example in 1998 and a further prototype in 1999.
The account places the transition toward series production around the turn of 2000. These milestones distinguish the workshop’s earlier contract work from the arrival of a revolver carrying its own identity.
